A Commitment to Excellence
At Bajo Kiddy Fun House, we believe that “it takes a village to raise a child.” Our community is built on a foundation of strong collaboration between teachers, parents, and the wider Labuan Bajo area.
We strive to create a positive environment where families feel supported and children learn the value of giving back to their society.

Charity
Our commitment to education extends beyond our classroom walls through the Tunas Bajo Indonesia Foundation.
Foster Parents Program: Established by our founder, this program provides early learning access to local children who might otherwise be left behind.
Remote Area Development: We are actively researching and working toward building more early learning centers in remote areas of NTT to improve the level of education in unnoticed regions.
Vision for the Future: Our charitable goal is to pave the way for a brighter future in Labuan Bajo by ensuring high-quality early childhood education is accessible to all.

Events
Throughout the academic year, we organize various events that bring our students and families together to celebrate culture and learning.
Cultural Celebrations: We host events like Independence Day and Indonesian Traditions Heritage days to celebrate local music, dance, and food.
Themed Learning Weeks: Highlights include Book Week (Costume Day) and Halloween, where students can express their creativity.
Performances & Sales: Annual traditions include the Christmas Performance and the Valentine Bake Sale, which encourage community gathering and school spirit.
Student Showcases: We hold Student-Led Conferences (SLC) and Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTM) to celebrate student milestones and progress.

Public Service
We are dedicated to teaching our students how to be responsible and active members of the public sphere.
Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC): Students participate in regular field trips (EOTC) to learn about public places and their environment firsthand.
Public Awareness Themes: Our curriculum includes “Public Places” and “Environment Care” themes to help children recognize and respect their surroundings.
Safety Drills: We conduct community-focused safety training, such as Earthquake Drills, to ensure our students and staff are prepared for local environmental challenges.
Health & Hygiene: The school promotes public health through “Self-Hygiene” themes and by requiring children with contagious symptoms to remain home until they are well.

PTA
The PTA is a vital part of our school, fostering a spirit of partnership to enhance our students’ educational experience.
Collaboration: The success of Bajo Kiddy is a direct reflection of the exceptional support and collaboration we receive from our amazing parents.
Support System: The PTA helps guide new families, helping them settle into the school routine and supporting a positive school community.
Communication: Parents stay connected through regular updates in the school’s Contact Book and WhatsApp groups, ensuring a constant dialogue between home and school.
Involvement: We encourage parents to take an active interest in their child’s day-to-day journey and participate in school life whenever possible.
